This blog is about photography. I have been taking pictures since I was 12. Photography offers me a way to share my particular point of view with the world. I have always been drawn to landscape style photography. My eye is generally attracted by interesting light and vivid color. I am usually in one of two types of picture taking modes.
The first is when I am just out and about. I try to always take along my Canon powershot S5IS. I use it to snap everyday slices of life I come across. Sometimes it's just a simple snapshot of a person, place or thing that caught my eye. Some times that simpl shot will inspire me to try something else or undertake some expreimental photography.
The other picture taking mode is when I pack my Caon 5D and my lenses and go out on a photography expedition. I tend to plan these in advance and as I am working I will get into a very creative head space and can photograph things for hours or as long a sthe light holds up.
